Curriculum

Our curriculum is based on the current South African curriculum (CAPS compliant).

Admission requirements

Learners are welcome to enroll at any time of the year for non –certificate purposes.  Should the learner wish to prepare for the National Senior Certificate (NSC), there are set requirements including portfolio requirements, which must be met in each of the grades, i.e.in  Grade 10, in Grade 11 and in Grade 12. It is recommended that learners follow an annual plan from January to November for each academic year.

Progression

Learners in Grades 10, 11 and 12 will be promoted from grade to grade if they have offered and completed the School-Based Assessment, Practical Assessment Tasks (where applicable) and end-of-year examination requirements in not fewer than seven (7) subjects.

Learners must achieve 40% in three subjects, one of which is an official language at Home Language level, and 30% in three subjects, provided the School-Based Assessment component is submitted in the subject failed.
